About the event
For the fourth year, the Hammock Beach Resort will host a memorial tribute stair climb. Participants will climb 110 flights of stairs in memory of the fallen first responders from the 9/11 attacks. The September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks claimed the lives of 2,977 people, including 343 Fire Department of New York City (FDNY) firefighters and one New York Fire patrolman.
